Pan-Grilled Catfish

  • 3 lbs catfish fillets
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 Tbsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil

In a shallow bowl combine water, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce; set aside. In a shallow dish, mix together flour, paprika and seasoned salt; set aside. Rinse fish, pat dry with paper towel. Dip fish in water mixture; dredge in flour mixture to coat.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place fish, skin-side up in skillet and cook for 6 to 7 minutes. Turn and cook until firm, about 7 more minutes. Serve hot.
