Bass Italiano

  • 4 fillets, skinned
  • 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup cornmeal
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • olive or vegetable oil

Combine dry ingredients. Dip fish in beaten egg and then in crumb mixture. saute in vegetable or olive oil over medium heat until golden brown.
