Chocolate Icing

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 4 teaspoons cocoa
  • Bring to a boil and Remove from stove

    • Add:

  • 6 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 1 box of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation:

Combine ingredients except vanilla and butter in a saucepan, bring to a boil, and boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in butter and vanilla, beat until spreading consistency

Optional: 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Servings:
One 9 inch two-layer cake
