Second Helping of Secret Recipes Cookbook

This cookbook is sometimes referred to as "Book Two" or the "Green Cookbook". Over the many printings the cover was changed slightly. The original masthead read "Secret Recipe Report" while in later printings it was shortened to simply "Cookbook Secrets" with the final title reading, "Second Helping of Secret Recipes, The Fast Food Cookbook".

This Cookbook was actually the result of a much needed vaction my parents took from their business, but we all knew their vacation was from us kids. They stayed at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island where they just so happened to be filming "Somewhere in Time" with Christopher Reeve, Jane Seymour, and Christopher Plummer. My parents were lucky enough to meet the three movie stars at breakfast one morning, an while my Mom was smittened with Christopher, in the back of her head she was already taking notes for what would become a section of this cookbook – the elegant dishes served at the Grand Hotel.
